Shopping Bag: Since I was a child, I have absolutely loved animals. I grew up with a number of rescued animals and continue the tradition with my most recent pet, a hamster named Chai. For this project, we were given the option between a number of store types, including toy, clothing, winery, and pet. I wanted to go further than just your typical shopping bag, though. I wanted to promote adoption and the animals that were waiting for their “fur-ever” homes by displaying their images on the retailer’s bags. Animal Friends of Allegheny County were extremely kind in allowing myself and Beth to take pictures of some of their animals for this project.
